IWT staff members provide recommended specifications for client facilities. State facilities use this specification to support their annual state chemical bid (Boiler Compound Bid Award) that is organized by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services. Annual state bids for water treatment chemicals, testing reagents and supplies, and laboratory equipment are required by the State of Illinois. Any state agency that is a member of the Joint Purchasing Program can buy off the bid.
