This segment of the Renewable Energy Equipment Recover-Reuse Program will convene and coordinate a group of experts across various sectors in wind energy and waste management. In the first year of the program, this stakeholder group will evaluate wind energy development across Illinois and EoL blade projections waste management concerns. The ultimate intent over the next five years is to provide the technical and logistical recommendations necessary for EoL wind energy materials management in Illinois and other bordering utility-scale wind states in the Midwest.
